English for Content Teachers

English for Content Teachers (ECT) is a special program designed by LBPP LIA for teachers of non-English subject (content teachers, especially Math and Science teachers) who use English as teaching instructions in class.

ECT prepares content teachers to teach their subject using English as a medium of delivering the lesson. The program also equips teachers with topic-specific vocabularies and classroom language needed to present the lesson. With this program, teachers will not only be well-equipped with the necessary terminology, they will also feel confident in using the language in class.

The materials used in ECT class is specially designed by LBPP LIA’s Teacher Training & Development Team.
