  • "Praise and gratitude be to God, then to all my teachers who had tirelessly taught me. But among those teachers one excels: Miss Attie, for she was the one giving me the motivation that yet profoundly lingers in my mind; to grab every chance! When I joined the competition, I saw my chance was slight. Thus I was constrained to struggle with my limitations to make them ways of opportunities. Upon seeing the result I knew that with hardwork and determination I can even the odds" Abdul Aziz (HI-3 student of Term IV/09, the second winner of LIA Pramuka's SAY competition, LIA's representative for the International Youth Forum 2009)

  • First of all, I’d like to say thank you very much for all the teachers who had taught me: Ma’am Ruri, Ma’am Dian, Ma’am Attie, Ma’am Ettie. I remember when I joined conversation class a year ago, I felt nervous and couldn’t speak English well. But, lucky for me, the teachers taught me very well and they helped me a lot to speak, to know about grammar. They listened to us carefully and corrected the mistakes that we did in the class. It’s not only that, I also got a lot of friends who supported me a lot to improve my English. If I could say, it’s a place which has a good English learning environment. They support each others, the teachers, students, the staffs. Finally for me, by having such a learning process, I could be the 3rd winner of National SAY Competition to commemorate 50th LIA’s Anniversary. So, I do thank you so much for the teachers, all LIA’s staffs, and my friends. Go go LIA… Nofrizal a.k.a Topik (LIA Pramuka's graduate of CV class term III/09 The first winner of SAY category competition (Speech and Presentation). The third winner of LIA National Competition.)

  • Thank you for LBPP LIA. After joining "One-day Seminar/Workshop Learning English and Content, my friends and I get more ideas in teaching language. Besides, it also inspires us to develop the techniques to teach language as well as content when using material at school. I think, this seminar/ workshop is very needed especially for schools that establish theirs as Internationally accredited school (Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf International & Sekolah Bertaraf International). Kiagus M. Ismail, Spd. (English teacher of SMPI AL Azhar 12 Rawamangun)

  • My first impression in joining the one-day seminar at LBPP LIA Pramuka is extremely outstanding. Me as a participant were so happy to join this activity. By getting involved into this activity, I open my mind and vision about the way of teaching both content and language in one. It means that content and language teachers shall work together in improving the quality of teaching to face the globalization. My suggestion is the provider should run more seminars frequently to improve the quality of teaching and networking among teachers/schools. Well done, LBPP LIA! Happy Birthday (50 years). Love you! • I got a lot of friends from LIA and we still keep in touch until now. Friends also made my studying time fun and enjoyable. A. Wisnu (LBPP LIA Pramuka graduate of 2001)

  • My name is Reza and right now I work at one of the state-owned banks in Indonesia. I studied at LIA Pramuka when I was a freshman in college. I started studying from Basic 4 until Advanced 4. When I graduated from college, I was able to speak English well. Thanks to the teachers and the program. When I applied for my first job, the company asked me about my English competence. LIA certificate surely had successfully convinced the company to give me the job. It was some 10 years ago, but until now my English competence has helped a lot in my career. So, I thank LIA for this. Reza H. (LBPP LIA graduate)
