On a clear Sunday morning on April 11, 2010, LIA Public Library again held Coloring & Drawing Competitions for state elementary schools in Jakarta. The event was held in LBPP LIA Pramuka Branch. The themes for LIA Public Library’s competitions in 2010 were “Buku sahabat setiaku” for students of grade 1-3 and “Yuk… ke Perpustakaan Umum LIA” for students of grade 4-6.
As a routine event, this year’s Coloring & Drawing Competitions were followed by more than 80 schools in Jakarta. The Coloring Competition was followed by 214 grade 1-3 students and the Drawing Competition was followed by 78 grade 4-6 students. The judges for these competitions were Bp. Lucky Dian Satriana, Ssn, Bp. Drs. Bambang Tetuko, and Bp. Joko Tribadi, Ssn.
The participants and their parents were very enthusiastic in joining the competitions. They couldn’t wait to start the competitions. The event itself was conducted by C’nS Junior Magazine team. While the participants were busy with their paper and crayons, their parents were invited to a presentations about LIA Profile by Yayasan LIA Humas and LBPP LIA Pramuka team. The parents were enthusiastic to know information about LIA’s programs. They were also given a lot of doorprizes!
The participants created such beautiful drawings that it made the judges need quite some time. Finally, the winners for the competitions were announced.
