The 2009-2010 new semester has begun on 1 July 2009. To build a good relationship with parents, LBPP LIA Pramuka always holds Parents Meeting every semester. The Parents Meeting is also meant as a media for parents to communicate with LIA. This semester’s Parents’ Meeting was conducted by Ibu Dwi Yani.
This semester I/2009-2010, Parents Meeting was held on Saturday, 25 July 2009. In this meeting, parents and LBPP LIA Pramuka management met to talk about the program, the students, and many more. First, there was a program orientation conducted by LIA Pramuka’s Branch Manager, Bapak David Simanjuntak.
After the program orientation, new students from various levels showed some performances helped by their teachers, Ms. Sari Tondi and Mr. Ronaldi. Some students sang songs and did jazz chants, some others danced too.
After the performances, the parents joined their children in a game. In this game, the parents had to rearrange a story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The parents got a lot of help from their children. After the game, EC Coordinator explained various techniques that students could learn from one book.
The meeting was closed with Questions and Answers session. Parents were pleased to get some information, but LIA Pramuka was even more pleased because we had a lot of inputs from the parents.
